Have you ever had a dream? Because here we are talking about dreams. A dream come true.
Why project 2000? It all started by chance, aboard a hired car back in February 98, traveling along dusty secondary roads in southern Chile. Paolo had opened the discussion:
“What if I take a year off? We could travel across the American continent from north to south! "
"Yes, it could be done"
And so to throw hypotheses, itineraries, possibilities. Machine? trains? bicycle? right by hitchhiking?
But when!! Practically disagree on everything, except the date: the fateful 2000, as a year devoted to our sacrifice.
“There will probably be a whorehouse of people who will arrive in Italy, on the occasion of the jubilee, and what do we do? Let's change continent, let's go !!
Since then we have talked a few times about this "project 2000".
Of course things, as always, did not go exactly like this, but I believe that this idea has significantly influenced my choices, inspired by American literature on the road, with his Kerouac, Jack London and which led to about four months of this trip: at the time, the first solo raid published in various magazines, my first cover, the first photos published in the sector's advertisements!!
