The photos were published in the Motocilcismo magazines (2003), Speciali di Motociclismo (2003) and in Superwheels (2006).
South America: four and a half months, more than 30000km, at least 10 passes over 4000m, a month and a half spent over 3500m, meetings, cordiality, disappointments, sufferings, misery. This, in 2 lines, is the summary of one of the most fascinating experiences that a motorcycle tourist can dream of. And this is the rambling diary, the ungrammatical result of my wandering.
126 days, one bike available, enough curiosity to give shape to a project that started almost as a joke at the beginning of April thanks to the interest of the magazine and BMW Italia, to take shape over the months and become reality at the beginning of November. 126 days !!
What remains after so much wandering? The friendliness of the people, the extreme poverty, sometimes even dangerous due to its sad conditions, the Andes with its fantastic natural spectacles.
