Tuscany, on the hunt for dirt roads

A cracking season opener, perhaps too much so! The pre-departure reconnaissance in search of new dirt and gravel roads yielded satisfying results, which probably led to excessive enthusiasm. The result: two intense days, probably too long by the usual standards of the proposals offered to friends who often participate. My fault, I got carried away. Furthermore, the relative lack of time available, combined with a technical problem—actually a breakdown of the photographic equipment—this time prevented us from producing the usual quantity and quality of content! Thanks to Sandro, who shared some of his shots. Furthermore, the proliferation of new cycling routes in the area has created a truly impressive network of easily navigable roads, with the usual Tuscan landscapes to enchant those who travel them. During the presentation, we wrote: "The view is captivated by the wonder of its surroundings. The panoramas open the heart, and these lands reach their goal. Roads that seem to have been built pointlessly, seemingly meaningless, but once traveled, reveal a surprising meaning. When we travel them, we're happy, and we hope you'll be too. We had to search for them, and it wasn't easy, changing the route several times." We confirm every word, and we hope it was the same for those who participated in this first experience of 2026.
