Giovanni is full of talents. I've known him for over 10 years, but he never ceases to amaze me. He knows how to ride a motorcycle safely, he interprets road maps on the fly and I still wonder how he reads the roads that turn out to be breathtaking landscapes.
Not to mention the trattorias. His travels are culinary experiences rather than travels.
And then, he is a great photographer also in this field he sees landscapes, passages in motion, colors, lights in advance. Those "too fast" behind him force them to double and sometimes triple pass and you never know where he is hiding to film. On this point he is a dictator, a Fellini, a visionary who makes you repeat until what he already has in mind comes out. We fuckers who pay him for all these talents concentrated in one person. Joke, they have been years of incredible travels witnessed by films, accompanied by photos that fully convey all the emotions felt. With Giovanni, if you are careful, you learn to travel and you ask yourself: but how did I do before. Too bad we don't have time to enjoy him on his great journeys from South America to Asia.
